Zonta members came to celebrate the establishment of the Zonta Club of Kigali New Voice in Rwanda. This is an exciting moment as Rwanda is a new member country of the Zonta community.

Several prominent Zontians, including District 18 governor Nadjim Salami and Zonta International Director Anne-Marie French Cudjoe, conveyed their congratulations and best wishes to the chartering members in both French and English. They then presented the club with a yellow sash, candle and flower as symbols of their commitment to upholding the Zonta Spirit and its mission in building a better world for women and girls.

"We finally arrive at this beautiful day for all," said Club President Claire Nancy Misago. "All of us are committed to joining Zonta to develop our young women and young girls in Africa at all levels. We are on a journey to rebuild the country, to rebuild Rwanda women and girls*"
