Welcome from 2022-2024 Zonta International President Ute

Greetings fellow Zontians and friends,

I am excited to give you a happy and warm welcome to the 2022-2024 Biennium! To those of you who were able to join me at the 2022 Zonta International Convention in Hamburg, Germany, I hope you had a wonderful stay in my home country. For those of you who participated virtually, I hope it was also an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

As we settle back into our daily lives, I am ready to take this next step forward into our future as your international president for the next two years. Thank you for putting your trust in me when you elected me in 2020.

These last two years have taught us much about being flexible and resilient while still staying focused on what matters: that every woman can develop her full potential and saying NO to violence against women.

Our continuing mission and vision, along with our new theme, Build a Better World for Women and Girls, are even more critical as the ongoing effects of the pandemic and even more sadly, war, threaten the rights of women and girls.

Zonta International is needed now more than ever! Our vision for gender equality is not yet a reality. We need a strong, committed community of our members, partners, friends and supporters. Together, we have the skills, will, energy and resources to make a difference for women and girls worldwide. Let us all together build a better world for women and girls!
