2023 Women in STEM Scholarship materials now available

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields are vital to addressing certain global challenges. However, women are still largely underrepresented in STEM fields. In 2017, only 30% of students starting bachelor's  programs in STEM were women, according to UNESCO.

Zonta International is addressing this issue with the Women in STEM Scholarship, which encourages women to pursue education, career opportunities and leadership roles in STEM fields. 

Materials for the 2023 Women in STEM Scholarship, including the application and poster, are now available at zonta.org/womeninSTEM. Members can find more materials, such as application cover sheets and sample certificates, on the Award, Scholarship and Fellowship Tools page.
